A piece of ordinary paper is folded in half several times in my hand,and a small and delicate pair of scissors is only a few knives away.In my hand,a vivid and beautiful“福”suddenly emerges.This"art on the fingertips"makes me marvel.In the hands of the people of Ziyang,using a thin piece of red paper can not only cut out the prosperity of the vast world,but also cut out the peculiar imagination of countless hearts.

高、險、奇是高臺獅舞的三大特點，以驚險奇難而著稱，令觀者無不屏氣凝神、大受震撼，而舞者卻氣定神閑，展現(xiàn)著“高臺任我舞，舍我其誰”的魄力。
There are three major characteristics of GaoTai Lion Dance:height,danger and joy!During performances of this dance,the audience is usually on the edge of their seats,holding their breath,while the performers are cool,calm and collected,hopping from one platform to another as if they aren’t risking life and limb for this show.
堪嘉鎮(zhèn)紅蓮高臺舞獅團(tuán)已有300多年歷史，已被認(rèn)定為資陽市“非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)”。與大多數(shù)舞獅一樣，這種舞蹈傳統(tǒng)上是在節(jié)日、慶?；顒?、祈禱祝福甚至驅(qū)魔時表演的。如今，它已經(jīng)發(fā)展壯大，這些表演經(jīng)常被用做開業(yè)表演和重要的生日祝福。
Kanjia Town’s Honglian Gaotai Lion Dance Troupe has been around for more than 300 years,and has been certified as an“intangible cultural heritage”of Ziyang City.As with most lion dances,this dance is traditionally performed at festivals,celebrations,when praying for blessings or even expelling demons.Today it has evolved and often these performances are used to uplift new business and celebrate important birthdays.

A unique combination of martial arts,acrobatics,drama and flair,Gaotai Lion Dance is incredibly fun.Barefoot on the high platforms,these dancers hold the lion heads high and manage to jump and flip with agility from platform to platform.
